Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the flipZen mobile app and related services. By using flipZen, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
flipZen helps you run focus sessions using your phone's sensors. Some features require an account. Premium features may require an active flipZen Pro subscription.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and comply with applicable laws when using the app.
3. flipZen Pro subscriptions
flipZen Pro is an auto-renewable subscription billed through Apple's App Store. Available plans, prices, and any free trial are shown in the app and in App Store Connect at the time of purchase.
- If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel before it ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Apple handles billing, refunds, and subscription management.
- You can cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.

4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use flipZen in a way that violates laws or third-party rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service
- Upload harmful content or interfere with other users
5. Health and safety
flipZen is a productivity tool, not medical or therapeutic advice. Do not use the app in situations where distraction could cause harm (for example while driving). You use the app at your own risk.
6. Intellectual property
flipZen, its branding, and app content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF FLIPZEN.
9. Termination
You may stop using flipZen at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of flipZen after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence remain unaffected where applicable.
